The following are real cases that Dr. Lindgren has helped patients improve their smile. Some of them were done over 10 years ago. Dr. Lindgren has been doing cosmetic dentistry for over 15 years and has helped thousands of patients improve the appearance of their smile.

This case the patient wanted a subtle but improved shape and improved color to their teeth. Some patients want dramatic improvements but sometimes a minor change is all we want or need. Cosmetic crowns were done on the six front teeth in this case. The patient already had 3 crowns or a bridge on one side as you can see so we replaced that bridge. This case was done by Dr. Lindgren 8-10 years ago.

This is another case of subtle improvement by doing cosmetic crowns on the four front teeth (incisors) only. Sometimes a case can work good like this when the canine teeth are healthy and look good. We don't always have to crown the teeth. Sometimes orthodontic alignment can be done if you have healthy teeth. Crowns can change the shape, length, and color of teeth in a way that orthodontics can't usually accomplish and the process is much faster than the typical 18 month treatment for orthodontics. Sometimes with severe crowding it is still a good idea to do orthodontics in combination with cosmetic crowns. The case above was done by Dr. Lindgren over 10 years ago.

Dr. Lindgren was not always able to get before photos. While managing a busy start up dental practice he would often forget to take before photos but here are several after photos some of which do not have before photos. Every person is unique and we always have a conversation with you about what you want before we start. We help you decide on the shade or color and we also let you decide on what shape you want to make your teeth based on a catalog of tooth shapes. Sometimes your bite, tooth anatomy, tooth position, existing restorations, lips, and gums are all factors that can sometimes put limitations on what is possible but we can often make dramatic improvements.

The following is a case of a patient Dr. Lindgren helped over 8 years ago while he was an associate at another office. This patient had a lot of decay and crowding and needed crowns to take care of the cavities anyway and he also wanted to make the teeth look better. While we could have done more to improve the other teeth this patient was on a limited budget and only wanted to do the front 4 teeth but the improvement was still dramatic:

Even on a budget that only allowed for 4 crowns there was a dramatic improvement. Of course if this patient had the time and resources to do orthodontics or more crowns then this case could be improved but even with crowns alone Dr. Lindgren was able to make a significant improvement in the appearance of his teeth. Also a good thing to keep in mind is that gum health does matter and we can get better results when the gums are healthy.
